An all-inclusive MUSICAL EXPERIENCE for young artists ages 13 -18 that utilizes a streamlined schedule of activities, workshops and rehearsals to create, not just a show, but a fulfilling and rewarding experience in a welcoming environment that nurtures confidence, growth and development.
This Experience includes and encompasses…
acting, vocal, dance and stagecraft training
audition, rehearsal and performance etiquette
pop up lessons from technical theatre industry pros
hands on experience in performance and design
a script, libretto and score
one free private voice session/monologue coaching
show t-shirt/memorabilia
healthy snacks, water and meals for longer days
4 WEEKS/19 DAYS/68 HOURS + 2 PERFORMANCES!
There are so many aspects to bringing a show to life! At SPACE we offer theatre-lovers who thrive behind the scenes and in the pit an opportunity to thrive. Choose your concentration and let’s get started!
CONCENTRATIONS:
CAST | PERFORMANCE CONCENTRATION for those who love to sing, dance, act and perform!
CREW | STAGECRAFT CONCENTRATION for the technical savvy artists who have interests in creating props, keeping things running, sounding and looking great or whose talents are design and innovative thinking. Lights, Sound, Set, Props, Costumes, Wigs, Hair, Make-up.
PIT | MUSIC CONNECTRATION for strong musicians who can read music and play the instruments needed to accompany the show. What’s a musical without music!?
***Your concentration will serve as your “main role,” but this experience will be a very collaborative effort and with any luck, you’ll leave here having explored a little bit of everything!
