Interrogated by police, hounded by reporters, strapped to lie detectors, and pushed under hypnosis, Hickson feels compelled to share their experience, while Calvin longs only to forget. Using real transcripts from interviews, news reports, and hypnosis sessions, the play captures not only the bizarre events of that night, but the lasting toll it took on their friendship, reputations, and sense of self. What began as an unimaginable encounter became a defining moment that shaped and shadowed the rest of their lives.
